I am a NYC area based filmmaker and have worked on a all forms of documentaries for over a decade, specializing in archival-driven–often neglected–historical narratives. I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate on stories that can be seen on PBS, Netflix, HBO, CNN, The New York Times, and ESPN. My most recent project, the 4-part series, Rafa, released on Netflix in the Spring and chronicles Rafael Nadal’s last professional season within the context of his decades-long career.
While long-form biographical series have become my niche, I have also spent time working at CNN in a larger documentary unit, collaborating on multiple stories from quick-turn news events, like Emmy-nominated Blindsided (2024) to longer documentary series like Emmy-nominated, Kobe (2026) and The Many Lives of Martha Stewart (2025).
Before diving deeper into the world of sports, celebrity and streaming, I spent years producing and honing the art of historic archival filmmaking, working on stories for the renowned PBS series, American Experience. I produced, The Riot Report (2024), which premiered at DOCNYC in 2023 and broadcast nationally on PBS in the spring of 2024. The film was written and directed by Michelle Ferrari and co-produced by Dr. Jelani Cobb.
Other credits for American Experience include, The First: Sandra Day O’Connor (2021), as well as the two-part series, The Vote (2020), which premiered at AFI Docs and was nominated for a Peabody Award. The Eugenics Crusade (2018), written and directed by Michelle Ferrari received the WGA award for Best Documentary Script.
In my spare time, I still like to have fun building my own archive, and produced the short documentary Scary Times (2020), which premiered at the NYC Short Documentary Film Festival and won Best of Fest at the Hudson Valley Film Fest in 2021.
I co-produced, Qualified for ESPN’s 30 for 30, which premiered at SXSW in 2019 and received the 2020 Focal Award for best use of Archival in a Sports Documentary. I am a graduate of Ithaca College, was a blue-ribbon finalist for the College Emmy Awards, and received film festival recognition for my first film, The Game (2012).
I am currently overseeing archival production across numerous projects slated for 2026 release, and always love to connect with good characters and good storytellers.
